Hudson WoRX was created by Dr. Susan Hopper, DNP and Jessica Wayman PA-C in the summer of 2019. In 2020, they opened their first clinic in Cornwall, NY. Susan and Jessica have over 40 years of medical experience between them.
Both Susan and Jessica are board certified in their professions. Our clinicians have both undergone focused training in various medical procedures and aesthetic treatments through which their clients benefit greatly. They are committed to providing exceptional client care and superior customer service in a way which has never been done before— Medical Aesthetics to Go. This means that the patient can choose how best to get treated. Options include in-home treatments, clinic hours in our Cornwall office, “Botox Parties,” or pop-up events at various esteemed Hudson Valley establishments.

Our Team
Family & Adult Nurse Practitioner
Dr. Susan Hopper, DNP
Susan first graduated from Lehman College, City University of New York in 1988 with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN). For many years she worked in Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation before transferring to emergency medicine.
But on September 11th her world changed forever. After responding to the attack on the World Trade Center she followed her calling and joined the United States Army Reserves as an officer, including a 15-month deployment to Iraq. She has earned her Master’s degree as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and then her post master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her passion for learning ultimately led her to PACE University where in 2018 she received her doctorate in Nursing Practice and has since been published internationally.
Today Susan holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and most recently was posted at the Pentagon, where she oversaw the Army’s Wounded Warrior Program. She feels strongly that health and wellness are key ingredients to a full and happy life. Her expertise in medical aesthetics is one way she hopes to help you reach your goal. GO ARMY BEAT NAVY!
Physician Assistant
Jessica Wayman
Jessica received her degree in Physician Assistant studies from Rochester Institute of Technology. Upon graduation, Jessica left Western New York and returned to the Hudson Valley where she grew up. Jessica has been providing quality compassionate care in emergency medicine as a physician assistant continuously since 2011. She holds many certifications, aesthetics included, and keeps current with regular and relevant continuing medical education activities. Additionally, she preceptors students from local Physician Assistant programs and takes delight in teaching future physician assistants.
When Jessica is not working in the Emergency Department at her local Level II Trauma Center she works hard to hone her techniques in medical aesthetics. As a sufferer from both acne and rosacea she has a personal interest in skin care and skin health. She hopes to use her own trials and tribulations to help her clients achieve natural looking results that boost their confidence and well-being because putting a smile on your face puts a smile on hers. In her free time Jessica loves reading spy novels, cooking new vegetarian dishes, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills with her three little boys. Go Bills!

Chelsea Cavanaugh
Chelsea, a certified medical aesthetician with 5+ years experience, is comprehensive in her approach, addressing the total health and well-being of your skin. She customizes her in-office treatments to address multiple skin concerns and educates her patients on how to effectively care for their skin at home. Not only is she a HydraFacial superstar, but in addition to her current role, she finds joy in sharing her expertise by teaching, empowering future aestheticians to make a positive impact in the industry. Beyond her professional endeavors, she proudly wears the title of military wife… Let’s Go Black Knights!
Medical Assistant
Elyse Hopper
We are delighted to welcome Elyse to our practice. Elyse graduated from the University of Alabama where she received her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. She is currently enrolled at Pace University pursuing a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies. Her sense of compassion extends far beyond her role as a medical assistant. In recent years, she has had the opportunity to do global mission work in Costa Rica and Ghana and hopes to go on more mission trips in the future. ROLL TIDE!
